After doing dishes, changing nappies, doing odd jobs to earn a living and rediscovering some more love for Debina in the recently concluded Pati, Patni Aur Woh, Gurmeet Choudhary is now all set to make people laugh in Star One's new show, Laughter ke Phatke. Our sources said, “Gurmeet will be playing Rahul Mahajan with a stand-up comedian who will be playing three characters who come to marry him in his swayamvar. She will play a call centre employee, a television actress and a film actress." When contacted, a production member said, "In each episode, Gurmeet will be seen with different people, some will be stand-up comedians and others will be actresses like Negar Khan, Shveta Salve and others.” Gurmeet confirmed the news show and said, “As an actor I wanted to do different kinds of roles. I always had a knack for comedy so I grabbed this opportunity." The show will go on air from 15 December at 10 pm.
