Certain things are destined to happen: Pearl V Puri on playing Nagarjuna

A snake lover by heart, actor Pearl V Puri is happy to have the role of Nagarjuna in his kitty...
The good looking hunk Pearl V Puri has had a lot of transformations in terms of all the characters he has portrayed on-screen. From Badtameez Dil's Abeer to Nagarjun, Pearl has come a long way! Talking about his love for snakes and his role in the Life OK show, Pearl averred, "I feel great that I am now playing this kind of a role. There are certain things that are destined to happen, and you get connected to the things you love. Now I am playing a role where I am a half snake and half human. I love snakes since my childhood. Every kid wants to be a superhero and even I wanted to be one." "I felt great when I was offered the show. I had an opportunity to work with Yash ji in Veera but it couldn’t happen. I was offered Veera post leap. Badtameez Dil fell into my lap and because the story was built around music and I was offered the role of a rockstar, I opted for it. I didn’t even know Yash ji so well back then. Now even he tells me that few things are destined and we were destined to work together," added Pearl. Pearl makes sure that he puts in all his understanding into the scenes. He added, "I try to make a sequence as natural as I can. I try to do the stunts on my own. I love adventure and now I am happy that I have got a huge scope to perform with this role." However, every role comes with a difficulty factor. Pearl replied, "Its difficult to wear the lenses and shoot with them. I can only look straight with the lenses. The lenses are very thick. I can’t even blink properly after wearing them." Pearl also shared that he likes to be part of the fantasy based shows. "Saas bahu sagas are not me. I have nothing against Meri Sasu Maa, but Sattu was not me. I want to do these kinds of shows where I get to do a lot. But I consider everything as a learning phase and a good experience." Way to go Pearl!
