Muskaan Nancy James is the next popular celebrity to be roped in for Colors’ extremely popular show, Code Red Talaash (Lost Boy Productions).
In a story that will deal mainly with ‘casting couch’, Muskaan will have two get-ups to don – a 1965 period character as well as a modern one. The story line will also have an Om Shanti Om kind of a revenge story, is what we hear.
As per a reliable source, “Muskaan will play a small town girl in the story that will date back to the period 1965. She will want to make a name for herself as an actor, and in the process will fall for a guy who would be the son of a very successful film producer. The father and son duo will take undue advantage of the girl and will exploit her. Ultimately this will lead to the girl committing suicide, only to return as a ghost to take revenge. The manner in which she will take revenge will be in the Om Shanti Om way.”
The interesting part of the episodic is that Muskaan will be donning a retro look for the second half of the story, going the Deepika Padukone way. Also, Muskaan who is scared of heights managed to shoot her sequences standing at a great height.
When contacted, Muskaan told us, “Yes, I enjoyed playing this role, as there were various dimensions to the character. I got to don 2 different looks and I did my own styling for the retro look that I have given myself.”
This particular episodic will go on air tonight (16 July).
