Prahlad mentioned Govinda's well-known history of being late for meetings. He recalled the actor telling him once that he would come on time for a shoot even though he was thousands of miles away.

Even though they had an excellent time together, the pair's last project together, Partner (2007), ended badly. However, recent events suggest that Govinda and David Dhawan have finally made a reconciliation, ending their long-running discord.

The humour in the David Dhawan movie had the crowd in stitches as they laughed out loud while admiring Bachchan and Govinda on the same screen. The two had excellent chemistry together, but it was difficult to get both their on-screen and off-screen timing just right.

The actor, who celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family, interacted with the media and said that he has rejected projects worth Rs 100 crores last year.

Govind Namdev may also be seen in the Amit Rai-helmed sequel OMG 2, which features Pankaj Tripathi in the title role. He has no regrets about how his part in OMG 2 was altered during editing. This time, the actor doesn't have as much time on screen.
