TV actress Malvi Malhotra was recently stabbed multiple times with a knife in Mumbai. She was stabbed by a man for turning down his marriage proposal. The accused, Yogesh Mahipal Singh, and Malvi had met a couple of times before the incident. Yogesh had introduced himself as a producer. Soon, he started pressuring the actress to marry him. But she allegedly rejected his proposal, and Yogesh stabbed her thrice.

Well, now, the buzz is that Yogesh has been arrested by the police.

According to our sources, the police have traced Yogesh and he might soon be arrested.

Malvi’s close friend Prashant Bajaj confirmed the buzz with TellyChakkar.

Malvi had sought help from Kangana Ranaut and National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma. The actress told Kangana that she belongs to the same town as her in HP.

IANS quoted her as saying, “I would like to request Rekha Sharma ji who is a chairperson of National Commission for Women to look into this matter and support me. I would also like to request Kangana Ranaut ji to support me in this matter because I also belong to Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The kind of incident which has happened to me in Mumbai, I didn't expect it in my dreams, so I just want their support in my fight against injustice.”
